David A. Struble, DDS
Dr. David Struble grew up in Dallas, Texas, attended the University of Texas, and received his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1983. He began practice in Ozark in the spring of 1985 and built his current office in 1989. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association and in May 2008 he rejoined the board of the Greater Springfield Dental Society.
Dr. David Struble was chosen 2007 Dentist of the Year by the Missouri Dental Association in recognition for his instrumental role in the establishment of the Children's Smile Center, a not for profit clinic to provide dental care for Medicaid-eligible children.
Dr. Struble has completed over a thousand hours of continued education in dentistry, which has enhanced his general dentistry practice to include the latest treatments in cosmetic crown and bridge restorations, cosmetic fillings, porcelain veneers, endodontics (root canal therapy), T.M.J. (jaw-joint) therapy, patented laser surgery for correcting gum disease and Full and Partial dentures.
His wife, daughter and son and their interests keep him busy for much of his free time, but some is still left for golf, running and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. Many people in the Ozarks still refer to Dr. Struble as "the Singing Dentist" for his "side" career as a lead performer in Branson, MO shows (Presley's and the Ozarks Country Jubilee) from 1984-1992. Three times he was awarded "Male Vocalist of the Year" at the Ozark Music Awards.
Heather - Team Leader and Financial Coordinator
Heather graduated from Ozark in 1997. She joined Dr. Struble eight years ago. Since organizational skills, multitasking and talking have never been a problem for Heather, interacting with patients, keeping up with their insurance and answering the phone suits her best! Heather is happily married to Travis and is a proud mom of a wonderful 10 year old son Chandler who is involved in football, baseball, basketball all of which keeps them on the go! Heather is an avid sports fan herself, with football being her favorite! She’s a huge fan of LSU (GEAUX TIGERS!) and the Saints!!
Michele - Patient Cordinator
Michele grew up and graduated from Mountain View, Mo. She then attended SMSU-West Plains. Michele has been married to her husband Brian for 12 years and they have 3 children. Brenden is 10, Courtney is 8, and Ethan is 4. Running kids takes up much of any "free time" but she enjoys canoeing & swimming.
Melanie - Dental Hygienist
Melanie, a Glendale High School graduate attended hygiene school at Costal Carolina Community College, in Jacksonville, N.C. She has been serving our patients faithfully for six years. She and her husband, Brandon have two children, Kyla and Garrett. (Ask her to see their pictures!) Melanie enjoys camping, swimming, going to horse races and is always up for a great vacation.
Cindy - Dental Hygienist
Cindy graduated from MSSC in 1985 and has since been licensed in Florida, Nebraska, and Virginia. She has been with Dr. Struble’s office for the past four years and is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet! Cindy is happily married and a proud parent to three children. Her oldest son is in the Air Force, her second son is in college and her daughter attends Ozark Schools. In her spare time Cindy enjoys teaching fitness classes, biking, running, attending Bible studies, and spending time with her family.
Lorena - Dental Hygienist
Lorena graduated in 2003 from Community College of Philadelphia. She holds a hygiene license in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Missouri. She joined Dr. Struble's team in October. She will always greet her patient with a smile and them feel at ease. She loves making her patients experience at Dr. Struble's office pleasant and unique, either in English or Spanish. Lorena has been married to Jason for 13 years and they share two children, Ethan and Alexis. Lorena enjoys taekwondo, reading and watching movies.
Stephanie - Dental Assistant
Stephanie grew up in Ozark and graduated from high school in 2007. Stephanie joined Dr. Struble's team after graduating from OTC where she became a Certified Dental Assistant with expanded functions. Stephanie & her boyfriend share two dogs and a "few other animals". She loves summer weather, being on the water and spending free time with her family and friends.
Britni - Dental Assistant
Britni is an Ozark High School graduate and is currently a student at OTC, as she has hopes of becoming a dental hygienist. Britni is expecting to have a baby girl (Mailee) in February 2012. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also loves famly vacations, camping and reading.
